We are pleased to announce that we have
officially opened up a reservation list for kittens! If you are interested,
please fill out a small questionnaire on the "Contact Us" page and email us with
your answers. Please do not forget to specify which Dam you are interested in
having kittens from! This is vital to provide the best possible match from the
litter. It is also just as vital if you could let us know what gender and amount
of kittens you are interested in. This year (2011) we are expecting two litters,
one from CH Yurate Ul'mir of SiberianMeow/WC and another litter from Edelweiss Eropheya of
SiberianMeow. If you are interested as we mentioned above, do the following:
STEP 1: Fill out the Questionnaire on the
Contact Us page.
STEP 2: Wait for our response (we try to
respond within 72 hours, with rare exceptions)
STEP 3:
A: If you have been
approved, you'll have two choices:
Choice 1: Provide us with a non-refundable $300 deposit and that will reserve a
kitten for you immediately in the
current available litter.
Choice 2: You can provide us with a $25 non-refundable waiting list deposit and
we will place you on our waiting list, you will be free to choose a kitten from
any upcoming litter. Once a deposit has been received, it will secure your place
on the waiting list.
B: If you have not been
approved, we suggest you look for a kitten in a different cattery or rescue
organizations. If needed, we can recommend a cattery which may have less strict
rules.
NOTE: All mentioned deposits are part of the
kitten price.
STEP 4: Once the kittens have reached an age
where they can be distinguished and selected, everyone who has paid the $300
deposit will be notified according to their place in line so everyone can make a
selection. If someone does not like any of the kittens, s/he will be able to
wait for one more litter to make their selection.
Photos of selected kittens will be posted on
our website with the word RESERVED next to the kitten's name.
STEP 5: When the kitten is old enough to be
picked up, prior to you receiving the kitten, you will be required to pay the
remaining dues for that kitten(s).
*If you would like to see our past litter,
please visit blog.siberianmeow.com
and look for Litter "A"
If you are seriously interested about
purchasing a kitten, we recommend that you do not put it off for too long, as
the kitten you may be interested, may not be available when you are ready!
Past Litter (2010): Alex
& Yurata (Litter
A).
Also, we have received some redundant
questions about the purchasing process and have decided to post answers here. If
we receive anymore repeating questions, we will publish them here.
Q: Do we provide a discount for purchases of
more than one kitten?
A: Yes, 2nd kitten discount from original
price: $200. i.e. If the first kitten is $1200 then the second will be $1000.
Prices for our kittens will be based on
kitten quality and conformation to the Siberian Breed Standard. We offer pet or
companion kittens and occasionally breeder kittens only for limited catteries
which will comply with our breeding standards and which will breed only
traditional pure line Siberians without mixing them with
Neva Masquerade or any other breed.
We ship nationwide and internationally.
Siberian Kitten Prices
Companion kittens are priced from $1000-1500.
The low end ($1000-1100) would apply to the less popular or non-standard colors
or patterns, the high end to kittens of show alter quality. Pet quality kittens
will rarely be lower than 1200 as we have very strong, and healthy bloodlines
from our Sire and Dams. All companion
kittens must be neutered and will be supplied with a non-breeding TICA
registration. Breeding quality kittens will start at $2000 and show kittens at
$1500. In order to purchase a kitten for breeding purposes, Siberian Meow’s
Breeding Contract must be agreed to and followed. These evaluations refer to
potential; neither fertility nor show titles are guaranteed, as these things are
beyond our control and subject to the possibly detrimental effects of the new
owner’s husbandry practices. All kittens are sold only with a signed contract
that spells out the obligations and guarantees of both buyer and seller. See a
Siberian Meow Litter B Deposit
Agreement, Siberian Meow
Litter C Deposit
Agreement and
Siberian_Meow_Kitten_Contract.
Reservations and Deposits
We now accept reservations, for future litters
and deposits on
kittens that are upcoming. If you are interested in a kitten from a
particular cat or breeding, please watch our Kittens page or mention that in
your reservation. You may wish to use the free services of
www.changedetection.com/monitor.html to notify you when the page is
updated. When the kittens are approximately 3 weeks old, we will begin posting
pictures. At that time you may contact us by email
(info@siberianmeow.com) about a
particular kitten. Please bear in mind that kittens are not necessarily sold
on a first-come-first-served basis to just anyone. Both kittens and buyers are
carefully evaluated in order to make the best possible match. Buyers
desiring kittens for show/breeding homes will be given preference over pet
buyers for kittens evaluated as show/breeder quality, but that does not mean
that none will ever be sold to pet homes. Of course, these very special kittens
do cost more.
Once you have been matched with your kitten, a $300 deposit will hold the kitten
until it is old enough to be picked up or shipped. This deposit, which is
subtracted from the purchase price, is non-refundable, as we will be taking the
kitten off the market and possibly turning away other sales opportunities. Of
course, if we are unable for some reason to actually deliver the kitten, the
deposit will be returned. Siberian Meow Cattery reserves the right to deny a
sale of kitten(s) to anyone if we determine it is not a good match. If such a
situation is to occur, the $300 deposit will also be returned. You may make the deposit by cashier’s check, money
order, or personal check (which is not binding until the check clears your
bank), but the best way to secure your reservation quickly is by money order. These same payment
methods are acceptable for final payments.
Getting Your Kitten
When the kitten is old enough and your final
payment has been made, you may take your kitten home. We prefer local pickup,
but we will ship within the United States or Worldwide. Kittens may be picked up
after the age of 16-18 weeks; we don’t ship before a kitten is 14 weeks old.
At placement all Siberian Meow kittens have had all of his/her age
appropriate shots, with the exception of the rabies shot. Internationally exported
kittens will also have the rabies shot.
Shipping, including kennel cost and health certificate, is at the buyer’s
expense. We use counter-to-counter service, and the total fee is usually around
$350.
Your kitten will come with current vaccinations, a contractual health guarantee,
a sample of the food she/he is used to, a sheet of
care instructions,a toy, etc... We recommend that the kitten be isolated from
other animals (particularly other cats) for at least the first 72 hours of the
health evaluation period, because if this is not done, we cannot take the kitten
back into our cattery.
We know that you will just love your Siberian kitten from Siberian Meow Cattery!
